Bright Future Psychology provides psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for children, teens, and adults in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Fort Myers, and throughout Southwest Florida.
Our services include comprehensive evaluations, ADHD and autism testing, dyslexia and learning-disability evaluations, gifted and IQ testing, twice-exceptional evaluations, and documentation for school, college, standardized-testing, and professional-examination accommodations.
Appointments are generally available within 1–2 weeks. Written reports are typically completed approximately one week after testing. In-person and virtual evaluation options are available when clinically appropriate and permitted by the testing and documentation requirements.

Our psychoeducational evaluations examine how cognitive abilities, academic skills, memory, attention, executive functioning, and other processing abilities affect learning.
Testing may help identify or clarify:
• Dyslexia and reading disorders
• Dysgraphia and written-expression disorders
• Dyscalculia and mathematics disorders
• Other specific learning disabilities
• Difficulties involving memory, processing speed, attention, or executive functioning
• Twice-exceptional profiles involving both advanced abilities and learning challenges
Evaluations may include cognitive and academic testing, measures of phonological processing, memory and executive functioning, behavioral rating scales, record review, and parent, teacher, or client input.
Results can provide diagnostic clarification and practical recommendations for intervention, tutoring, private-school support, IEP or Section 504 planning, college disability services, and testing accommodations. Schools and other organizations independently determine eligibility, services, and accommodations.

ADHD evaluations assess attention, impulsivity, executive functioning, self-regulation, and the ways these abilities affect school, college, work, and everyday life.
A comprehensive evaluation examines a broader range of cognitive, academic, emotional, behavioral, memory, processing, and executive-functioning abilities. This may be appropriate when concerns are complex, several conditions may overlap, or a detailed understanding of an individual’s overall profile is needed.
Depending on age and referral questions, testing may include measures such as the WISC-V, WPPSI, WAIS-5, CPT-3 or K-CPT 2, D-KEFS, memory and cognitive-processing measures, academic testing, executive-function rating scales such as the BRIEF-2 or CEFI, and behavioral measures such as the BASC-3.
Evaluations provide individualized findings, diagnostic impressions when appropriate, and practical recommendations. They may also support requests for school, college, standardized-testing, or professional-examination accommodations, although each organization makes its own eligibility decisions.

We provide autism evaluations for children, teens, and adults using a strengths-based, individualized approach. Evaluations consider social communication, relationships, sensory experiences, flexibility, repetitive behavior, developmental history, masking, emotional functioning, and daily-life needs.
A Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluation, or CDE, provides a complete autism diagnostic assessment and may be requested when documentation is needed to pursue services such as speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, or applied behavior analysis. Insurance companies and service providers establish their own authorization and documentation requirements, so an evaluation cannot guarantee coverage or services.
We also offer the ADOS-2 as a standalone assessment when it is requested by a pediatrician, psychiatrist, psychologist, or another qualified provider. The results are shared with the requesting provider and must be interpreted with developmental history and other clinical information. The ADOS-2 alone cannot diagnose or rule out autism.

Gifted and IQ testing evaluates intellectual abilities, reasoning, problem-solving, memory, processing speed, and other cognitive strengths. Testing may be used for gifted-program consideration, educational planning, private-school admissions, or a better understanding of a child’s learning profile.
We primarily use the WISC-V, WPPSI, and WAIS-5, with alternatives such as the RIAS or KABC-II available when clinically appropriate.
Twice-exceptional evaluations examine advanced abilities alongside ADHD, autism, dyslexia, learning disabilities, or other challenges that may be hidden by strong reasoning skills. These evaluations help explain uneven performance and support appropriate enrichment and accommodations.
Developmental evaluations for young children may assess early cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, social-communication, and developmental functioning. Recommendations are tailored to the child’s age, strengths, and support needs. Learn more about our comprehensive evaluations.
