At Bright Future Psychology, we specialize in neuropsychological assessments and comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adults including assessment for specific learning disorder (dyslexia; dysgraphia; dyscalculia), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety/mood disorders, developmental delays, intellectual impairments, giftedness, and various lower incident disorders. We will tailor recommendations based on individual needs and assist our clients in understanding and accessing the services and accommodations they or their child needs in order to thrive. This includes services/accommodations for special education services, IEPs, 504 plans, and AP/SAT/ACT testing accommodations. In addition to evaluations, we specialize in therapy services for children, teens, and college-age young adults utilizing CBT, solution-focused, art/play therapy, and Zones of Regulation techniques.

Dr. Hanna Kallstrom is the founder of Bright Future Psychology and a licensed School Psychologist with 15 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, their families, and schools. She specializes in assessing and diagnosing neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, ADHD, and learning disorders. In addition to her professional experience, she also has personal experience as a parent of twice exceptional children with diagnoses of ASD and ADHD. This has given her the insight of a parent’s perspective along with the skills, understanding, and patience to circumvent emotional, behavioral, and attentional challenges that may arise during sessions. She enjoys discovering each client's unique profile of strengths and needs to tailor recommendations to support academic learning, cognitive skills, and social emotional, executive, and independent functioning.

Her counseling approach is rooted in creating a safe, nurturing and trusting environment where her clients feel comfortable and empowered. Through a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution focused techniques, she works with her clients to understand and overcome challenges, strengthen relationships and develop healthy coping skills. Ms. Moore is also highly skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations to help families better understand their child’s unique learning profile. Outside of her professional life, Janice is a proud mother of two college-age children, which gives her a unique perspective on the challenges facing today’s youth.

Denys Butler is a Florida Certified School Psychologist with 18 years of experience working with children from preschool through high school. She is highly skilled in psychoeducational evaluations and assessing children for various conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, specific learning disability, intellectual disability, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and developmental delays. Ms. Butler grew up in New York and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology at William Smith College. She went on to attend Chapman University where she earned her master’s degree in school psychology and educational specialist degree. Ms. Butler’s passion is working with children and helping parents understand their child’s unique learning profile. She believes that through assessments, individuals can gain a better understanding of their strengths and learning differences, which can lead to more successful experiences in school.

All areas of cogntive abilities that are associated with the specific area of learning difficulty will be assessed and analyzed to find the underlying root causes of the challenges.
Fee Range: $1500 to $2300 depending on assessments used and time required.

Comprehensive Psychoeducational Evaluation

Using a combination of assessments, clinical interviews, and questionnaires depending on the client's age and needs. A complete profile of individual strengths and weaknesses will be discovered through extensive cognitive processing, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, adaptive, and exective functioning assessment. Extra attention will given to discovered areas of difficuty with more in-deph assessment and interpretation.
Fee Range: $1800 to $2800 depending on assessments used and time required.

Administration of an intellectual assessment (IQ test). We have a wide offering of the most recently updated IQ tests including the WISC-V, WAIS-IV, KABC-2, RIAS-2, WJ-IV, and nonverbal IQ tests (may be preferred for ELL students and students with speech/language delays). The Gifted Rating Scales - Second Edition (GRS - 2) can be added for an additional $100.

Psychological screening utilizing interviews and rating scales measurements to assess for presence of characteristics and severity of symptoms of ADHD, ASD, anxiety, depression, and a range of other psychiatric conditions. We also screen for executive functioning, adaptive behavior, and sensory processing difficulties.
